This album was one of the first releases of Tara Ellis. Toying with sounds from the pop culture of 2005 and finding what it is that she really wanted to say, this EP was the beginning of an opening of possibilities in her career. "This was the first time I started using more programed sounds and experimenting with instruments outside of my band members..." Simple and Free is a proper title for exactly what Ellis was getting into.
